The MTV Euro Top 20 (previously known as the MTV European Top 20) is a music chart countdown on MTV Europe, which plays the continent's most popular songs and artists. The countdown has been shown on the majority of the regional MTV channels in Europe since the late 1980´s up until its cancellation in April 2009. It is still shown with a different compilation method every Tuesday at 20:00 and every Saturday at 09:00 on MTV Europe where it has been rebranded as Euro Hitlist.
